🌲 Getting Families Back to the Table

In a world of endless screens, I'm creating print-and-play games that bring families together using simple materials you already own. No expensive board games, no digital downloads for kids - just real connection around your kitchen table.

Lumberjacks transforms any standard deck of cards into a strategic forest where you grow trees and time your chops to perfection. It's proof that the best family fun doesn't need fancy components or big budgets.

Why Families Love It

  • 2-4 players, 15 minutes - perfect for any schedule
  • Ages 6+ - kids can compete with adults
  • Uses any standard deck - no hunting for missing pieces
  • Easy to learn, strategic to master - grows with your family
  • Portable - take it anywhere cards can go
  • Screen-free - real interaction, real memories

🃏 How It Works

Every turn: Grow a tree (add any card) or Chop it down (match the trunk number or use a Jack). Sounds simple? The strategy comes from timing - do you help a tree grow, or do you have the right card to claim it? Watch opponents, count cards, and save those Jacks for the perfect moment!

💰 Pay What You Want

I believe great family games shouldn't break the bank. Download for whatever feels fair to you - $2-5 recommended, but every contribution helps me create more screen-free family content.

Your support directly funds my next projects! I have five prototypes ready to go and hope in the future I can commission custom decks and instruction brochures.

Thanks!

You may consider offering a "low ink" version of your brochure.  Also, according to the PDF properties it seems the intended print size is 11" by 17" (i.e. "tabloid" paper size) instead of the more common "letter" or A4 paper sizes?

If you have any feedback, please leave me a comment! I'm happy to address any questions and am interested in how your family felt about LUMBERJACKS.

Enjoy!
